    Position Summary
    The Sales Representatives will handle all aspect of the on-premise/off-premise strategy for the entire HUB portfolio in assigned states. Charged with increasing the availability and visibility of HUB brands, through obtaining specific objectives within each account, the sales representative is expected to grow HUB’s volume, increase distribution, educate customers, retailers, and wholesalers on our brand. This representative is expected to be the authority on product knowledge, brand positioning and programming in the marketplace. The role will be responsible for executing the brand strategy at the point of connection with the consumer. Candidate must be enthusiastic about the brewing industry and care about great beer and sustainability.
    Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

    STRATEGY
    o Execute the strategic plan in collaboration with the Director of Sales/Marketing by completing the components associated with the strategic plan on an on-going basis to ensure projects are within the sales plan guidelines.
    o Finalize and support the Company’s mission, vision and values.
    o Manage activities and resource requirements to ensure inter-departmental alignment with the strategic plan.

    B-CORP
    o Create, manage and help drive the financial, social and environmental plan to ensure success and alignment with B Corp standards.
    o Assist with the production and submission of the annual Sustainability Report.

    FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
    o Manage the annual budget of the Sales team to ensure efficient financial profitability.
    o Work within the assigned promotion budget maximizing promotional activity
    o Ensure timely financial reporting.

    OPERATIONS
    o Contact and correspond with distributors to insure FIFO, quality control and product pull through
    o Coordinate and support brewery events (tastings and festivals) that generate brand awareness and consumer sampling, as well as new distribution at target accounts.
    o Reinforce sales goals
    o Increase points of distribution in chain
    o Increase on premise accounts
    o Maintain and develop relationships with key staff, management and owners at key on–premise accounts
    o Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with distributor sales personnel.
    o Work with wholesaler personnel to drive business targets while enlisting them to work on our behalf when on their own in accounts.
    o Establish self as the role model and mentor to the wholesaler for on premise standards
    o Monitor upward or downward trends and communicate to HUB senior management

    COMMUNICATIONS
    o Communicate monthly with key personnel in wholesales and distribution in the field.
    o Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the Brewery, Sales and Marketing team.
    o Create and manage department dashboards to track the wholesaler operations.

    CULTURE

    o Promote the HUB brand in the consumer sector when visiting bars, restaurants and stores that sell beer.
    o Ensure the HUB culture is maintained by demonstrating team player qualities with all HUB team members
    o Promote healthy team culture through regular participation in team building activities.
    Performance Standards/KPI’s
    • Increase general sales numbers on a continual basis (includes on-premise bar promotions, beer festivals, special events, samplings, etc.)
    • Track the effectiveness of the HUB Point of Sale and Marketing program in the market.
    • Secure placement of a set number of point of sale material within the account base.
    • Grow account base total HUB volume at a targeted amount.
    • Meet monthly with key personnel.

    Required Skills & Experience
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Intermediate PowerPoint working knowledge required.
    • Presentation skills including the ability to conduct creative and informative presentations for both on premise activities as well as wholesalers and retailers.
    • Sales management.
    • Financial and budget knowledge and understanding.
    • Fosters innovation; responds creatively to change in a steady growth environment
    • Knowledge of company, state, federal regulations and franchise laws.
    • Vast knowledge of beer business and its practices as it pertains to national, regional, and local markets.
    • Organizational and administrative skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
    • Experience in maintaining liquor license compliance.
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
    • Must possess: All valid state permits.

    Highly Desired Skills
     Prefer Bachelor’s degree in related field; advanced training a definite advantage.
     Preferred work experience with full wholesale brewing operations.
     Experience and a passion to align with the B Corp philosophy to meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.

    Working Conditions
     At times, there will be substantial travel mixed with regular desk work.
     Occasionally lift/carry 30 – 40 lbs.
     Regularly walk, climb, kneel and crouch.
