Head Brewer-Belltown Brewing-Seattle, WA
We are seeking an experienced brewer to become our next Head Brewer. The right candidate will handle all operations of our 4 bbl, pub style brewery including but not limited to: wort production, fermentation monitoring, cellaring, keg washing, kegging, quality control procedures, recipe formulation, keg deliveries, record keeping, and various other administrative duties. Our Head Brewer also hosts a brewer’s night in house once a month to stay connected to our guests, as well as, being the face of the brewery to the public.
An ideal candidate will be hard working, have 2+ years experience in the brewing industry, be passionate about craft beer, can work well alone as well as part of a team, is an excellent problem solver, is sociable, pays attention to details, and maintains high quality standards throughout the brewing process.
Work Requirements:
• Organized

• Advanced Knowledge of craft beer and brewing
• Experience with all aspects of brewery work
• Safety minded
• Multitasker
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office products
• Mechanical aptitude
• 2+ years experience brewing for a production brewery/brewpub
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to sit, squat, bend, twist, reach, and spend long hours on their feet.
• Ability to work safely with hot and hazardous chemicals
