Cellar Worker

Duck Foot Brewing Company in San Diego, CA seeks a motivated & experienced Assistant Brewer/Cellar Worker, to add to our growing brewery team!

Required skills
- 1-2 years of direct experience in a brewery as a brewer or cellar worker.
- Familiarity with brew house operation.
- Well versed in brewing concepts and procedures.
- Brewery sanitation/cleaning procedures
- Ability to take direction and follow brewery SOP’s.
- Yeast handling and storage knowledge.
- Keg washer operation.
- Knowledge of transferring and kegging finished beer.
- Portable pump operation.
- Familiarity with cold side of brewing process
- Chemical handling, including use of PPE.
- Familiarity with brewery safety procedures and requirement to use all safety equipment.
- Forklift operation/certification.
- Knowledge of barrel aging a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge a plus
- Brewing certifications or self-study (BJCP, Cicerone) a plus.
- Must be able to multi-task and work well in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with operation of a bottling or canning line is a plus.
