    Job Summary:
    Each cellar staff member works with the rest of the team to produce hard cider, craft soda, mead, malt coolers, infused water, kombucha, or whatever else is on deck. Primary responsibilities for this position include fermentation monitoring, filtration, batching and blending, carbonating and documentation.Other tasks involve filling kegs, cleaning tanks, washing kegs, yeast rehydration and nutrient additions to the fermentations. These tasks involve moving and lifting blending materials, safely working with chemicals, and working in a team environment. Situational awareness is essential for this role. It has exposure to pressure, electrical power, and chemicals that must be treated with respect. If you can remain focused on quality and safety, this may be a good fit. Cellar crew members should expect and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a 40-50 hour workweek, including some evenings & weekends.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Cellar staff will assist with the daily operations in our cellar. Operations range anywhere from producing fluid, cleaning equipment, and preparing the finished product for sales and distribution. Specifically, this individual will be expected to:

    • Follow proper SOPs and remain competent in all areas of production.
    • Quickly and efficiently execute cellar tasks and responsibilities
    • Maintain a positive attitude and help foster a collaborative environment.
    • Demonstrate attention to detail during repetitive tasks.
    • Multitask while continuing a high standard of quality work.
    • Own the cleanliness and organization of the cellar area.
    • Clean kegs and hoses.
    • Adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Minimum Qualifications:

    • 21 years or older.
    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook at minimum.
    • Able to lift 80+ lbs.
    • Able to kneel, stoop, move quickly and be on feet all day.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 months of alcohol production experience in a commercial cellar is preferred.
    • Experience with GMP and/or HACCP and/or food safety environments.
    • Forklift proficiency is great, but can train on the job.
    • Looking for a long-term job opportunity.
