CCA is growing quickly, and we have an immediate need for a
DELIVERY DRIVER.
Position: Delivery Driver
Location: Claremont, CA
Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt - Full Time
Salary: $13-$17/hr, depending on experience
Hours: 40+ hrs/week, with flexibility to work non-standard hours
Benefits: Health insurance, vacation/holiday pay, 401k with matching, and BEER!
The Delivery Driver will deliver kegs, cases of beer, brewery supplies, and other brewery related items to various accounts and distributors throughout Southern California. You work hand in hand with our sales team representing our company in a professional and cost-effective manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction. This position is not for anyone looking to move into a production role. This position is aimed at someone who has a desire to grow in our sales and distribution team.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
Organize and maintain beer inventories
Create and deliver accurate invoices to our customers
Pack & load orders each day
Deliver beer to different addresses and through different routes
Create & follow an efficient route and maintain a tight time schedule
Keg setup and line cleaning if needed at delivery facilities and our taproom
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
Requirements
Strong customer service skills
Proven working experience as a delivery driver (beer specific is a plus)
Valid "Class C" driver's license
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Clean driving record
Strong attention to detail
21 years of age or older
Must be able to lift heavy objects and manipulate very heavy objects up to 160lbs
Must be able to work independently
Knowledge of local roads is a plus
Ability to use GPS or smartphone for mapping.
Ability to independently plan an efficient route to drive each day
Forklift certified a plus
Able to work well with a team
Able to work flexible hours
