    Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

    Position Summary
    This position is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count Brewery equipment and products. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties. Operator must maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse.

    Major Responsibilities
     STRATEGY
    o Executes the relevant warehouse strategic plan with the Supply Chain Manager.
    o Assist in the implementation of HUB values within the department.
    o Coordinate Brewery resources to ensure alignment with Brewery operations.
    o Participating in developing the overall growth strategy of the Brewery.
     B-CORP
    o Be mindful of B-Corp values when performing day to day operations; sustainability, ingredient sourcing, footprint.
     FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
    o Assist the Head Brewer in managing the budget as it pertains to shipping, inventory, and distribution.
    o Seeks out efficiencies in warehouse operations and make recommendations.
    o Help prepare month-end inventory.
     COMMUNICATIONS
    o Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the Brewery and Pub teams.
    o Provide Supply Chain Manager with project status updates and recommend corrective actions to ensure commitments are met.
    o Maintain relationship with Distributors.
     CULTURE
    o Promote healthy team culture through regular team building activities.
    o Promote the HUB brand in the consumer sector when visiting bars, restaurants and stores that sell beer.
    o Ensure the HUB culture is maintained by demonstrating team player qualities with all HUB team members
    o Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset when performing operational responsibilities

    Essential Functions
     OPERATIONS
    o Operates a forklift to assist team members in picking, staging, loading, unloading, rotation and storage of product.
    o Arranges for the pick-up and delivery of donations.
    o Conducts daily forklift inspections and follows safe forklift operating procedures.
    o Receives and checks in incoming shipments from FedEx, UPS, etc., and notifies appropriate department or individual of packages received.
    o Assists truck drivers by assuring that their vehicles are unloaded in a timely manner.
    o Verifies that employees who are taking product have a copy of a paid invoice.
    o Maintain proper Pub/Sales inventory stock of finished goods.
    o Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials meet quality specifications.
    o Coordinate receiving and delivery orders and storing products accordingly.
    o Assist inventory counts in the Brewery.
    o Assists the packaging team in production when needed.
    o Maintain warehouse cleanliness and operations.
    o Implement FIFO (First in and First out)
    o Complete all required paperwork and records including but not limited to inventory sheets, Bills of Lading, Invoices, etc. and submit to supervisor in a timely manner.

    Required Skills & Experience
    • Knowledge of all-around brewing processes.
    • Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Organizational skills
    • Time management skills
    • High Energy, self starter
    • Forklift experience- Must be able to pass Forklift certification in first 2 weeks
    • Communication skills (written and verbal).

    Equipment Required to Operate or to Use
    • Clean-in-place
    • Forklift
    • Scissors lift

    Licenses and/or Certifications
    Forklift Certification, OSHA required training, OLCC

    Physical Requirements
    • Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8-10 hours per day).
    • Able to frequently lift heavy materials (minimum 55 lb. boxes shoulder high up to 50 times daily).
    • Able to frequently climb ladders. Ladder climbing over 20 feet. Able to perform job while standing on a ladder
    • Able to work in wet, tight or cramped space.
    • Able to work in an environment with high noise levels
    • Able to work with hazardous chemicals
    • Able to frequently duck under conveyors/equipment.
    • Able to occasionally climb stairs.
    • Able to work in awkward positions for extended periods of time.
    • Able to frequently grasp with one or both hands
    • Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (respirators, ear plugs, boots, etc)
