    Position Summary
    The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for growing sales of White Labs products and services within their assigned territory. This individual must be highly motivated, have high energy, and have an entrepreneurial spirit to sell, train, manage, and drive new business revenue.

    Essential Functions & Duties
    • Extensive customer visits in the defined region and technical support. Expected travel approximately 40 -50%.
    • Develops sales plans for assigned territory including the targeting of specific products and services as well as specific customer types.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in industry organizations.
    • Regular review of sales numbers and budgets in region.
    • Responsible for attending and participating in industry related trade show events.
    • Researches and analyzes sales information from Netsuite to ensure understanding of the market including customers and competition.
    • Responds to, and handles customer complaints or concerns within their assigned territory.
    • Partners with wholesalers, distributors, and retailers to manage sales and inventory in region.
    • Utilizes Netsuite to update sales orders and customer information including leads and opportunities.
    • Partners with Customer Service Representatives, Master Planner, and other sales staff to understand and communicate product availability to customers.


    Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or other related field.
    • 3+ years of outside sales experience.
    • Consumer packaged goods sales experience a plus.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Netsuite experience a plus.
    • Ability to engage in a consultative sales approach with breweries, wineries and distilleries.
    • Working knowledge of the brewing process and fundamentals of fermentation.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
