    Ten Pin Brewing is a rapidly growing craft brewery in sunny Moses Lake, Washington. We are hiring immediately to fill positions at our new 30 barrel production brewery.

    The Packaging / Cellar Worker reports directly to the leadership team and is responsible for assisting the department leaders with a variety of tasks throughout the brewery. A successful, experienced candidate can expect rapid promotion opportunities into roles such as Packaging Manager. Less experienced candidates can expect excellent training on both packaging and cellar operations in order to gain the experience needed for promotion.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    • After training, act as lead operator of our Wild Goose 40 can per minute canning line. Lead a small team to fulfill canned beer orders on time with minimal waste.
    • After training, act as lead operator of our Meheen 24 bottle per minute bottling line. Lead a small team to fulfill bottled beer orders on time with minimal waste.
    • After training, act as the sole operator of our manual keg filling apparatus.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on the Wild Goose canner and Meheen bottler.
    • Cleaning and sanitizing the fermenters, bright tanks, and associated smaller cellar equipment
    • General housekeeping and maintenance throughout the brewery
    • Occasionally representing Ten Pin Brewing at beer festivals and events

    Critical Skills and Abilities
    • General mechanical aptitude is necessary
    • The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Work collaboratively as part of a small team.
    • Self motivated and capable of working independently to complete complex tasks
    • Capacity to manage multiple processes simultaneously in different areas of the brewery
    • A strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and safety
    • Ability to follow written Standard Operating Procedures down to the finest detail

    Job Requirements
    • Training, education, or experience in fields requiring mechanical aptitude, operating machinery, and repairing equipment.
    • Work experience in a brewery or food processing plant is preferred but not required.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment with proper use of PPE preferred
    • Willing to work various shifts as new roles are learned and production schedules change
    • Ability to repeatedly lift 55 lbs.
    • Positive attitude, friendly personality, and strong work ethic
    Compensation
    • Hourly pay based on experience and performance.
