    JOB TITLE: AX Support Technician
    LOCATION: Bell’s Admin Building
    REPORTS TO: AX Systems Specialist
    FLSA POSITION TYPE: Full Time, Hourly Non-Exempt
    EXTERNAL POSTING DATES: 05/14/2018-06/03/2018

    POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the IT department, the AX Support Technician is responsible for responding to employee Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (AX) questions and concerns, documenting requests/resolutions, configuring and deploying equipment, and helping to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient AX environments.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
    •Adheres to and advances the “Safety Always” culture of Bell’s Brewery.
    •Fields incoming support ticket requests and documents steps taken to resolve issues and provides tier-2 technical support for AX.
    •Provides end user support for various levels of technical and non-technical staff.
    •Assists production with integration of other systems into AX, including ProLeiT and LIMS as well as other development implementations.
    •Assists specific departments with development of documentation and SOP’s for AX systems, as needed.
    •Works with other departments to make system changes that enhance production spaces.
    •Promotes an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork within the department and the company.
    •Keeps AX Systems Specialist and IT management apprised of critical issues, errors or problems.
    •Continuously maintains knowledge of changing industry technologies, standards, and best practices.
    •Helps with other IT related functions.
    •On-call troubleshooting for AX-related issues.
    •Travels between company sites for meetings, troubleshooting, and support.

    Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

    •Ability to work independently with little supervision.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
    •1-3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 environment.
    •A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information technology, or related fields, and/or equivalent work experience.
    •Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 data infrastructure.

    •While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, use a computer and other office equipment.
