Experienced Brewer - Kenai Alaska
Kassik’s Brewery has an opening for a summer position brewer. Could work into a full time slot. Kassik’s is a family owned brewery located on the Kenai Peninsula (160 miles south of Anchorage). Kenai is a great place for fishing, hiking, camping, with amazing scenery!
The position consists of all aspects of brewing: Wort production, fermentation management, cellaring, inventory, kegging and bottling. Annual production: 2500 – 3000 BBL’s.
Requirements:
• Passion and dedication for brewing quality craft beer.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be a team player, and be able to work independently.
• Must be able to work any shift between 5:00 am and 9:00 pm
• Formal brewing education and/or a minimum of 2 years brewing experience in a commercial brewery/brewpub is required.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
