Can anyone recommend a stainless cleaner that I can spray on the outside of equipment to clean off soot from a direct fire burner? Maybe a foam of some type?

I'm also looking for a foam of some sort to clean exterior stainless. What do you use for spraying equipment? Someone suggested the Foam-it FI-5N to me, but seems a bit pricey.

We have a caustic based foam cleaner that is used for cleaning smoke houses. As long as it is used on stainless steel, you should be able to get the stains off, assuming it is soot.

Sometimes the heat itself will discolor the metal. Then you need to apply a strong acid or a special pickling paste to get the metal back to shiny.

You can contact me directly for more information.

        Cheers,
