Lead Canning Technician - 14th Star Brewing

14th Star Brewing Co. is a veteran-owned craft brewery in St. Albans, VT with a mission to brew high quality craft beer while enriching our community. We currently operate in a 16,000 square foot facility with an ever increasing annual production of about 8000 bbl's. We are looking for a smart and talented person to join our staff, as a full time Lead Canning Technician.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating and maintaining a Wild Goose canning line
• Excellent sanitation and cleaning practices
• Attention to detail
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Able to work effectively alone and in a team environment
• Proper use of PPE
• Experience driving a Forklift
• Able to lift 160 lbs occasionally and 55 lbs regularly

Primary Roles:

• Lead Canning Line Operator of Wild Goose 600
• Preparing Finished beer for Packaging
• Canning Line CIP
• Preventative Maintenance
• General Maintenance
• QA/QC
• Seam Measurements
• Dissolved Oxygen Testing
• Carbonation Testing
• Data Entry
• Packaging Inventory
• General Organization/Cleaning

Secondary Roles:

• Cellar Duties
• General Cleaning
• Shipping/Receiving
• Keg Cleaning and Filling
• Assist in other departments or perform other tasks as needed
