The General Manager works closely with the Brewmaster, Assistant Brewer, Packaging Manager, Sales Manager. This job is the link between all of these departments. Once beer orders have been received, the General Manager is to create brewing and packaging plans based on these orders, as well as oversee shipping to appropriate destinations. Hong Kong's third largest brewery and most centrally located.
Organization and Planning
Analyze sales orders. Using these orders, create weekly production schedules (three weeks in advance)
Work with Brewmaster and Packaging Team to ensure beer orders are filled each week
Head of all supply chain orders including brewing, packaging, safety and shipping supplies
Maintain reasonable inventories of all supplies while managing cash flow needs of the company; To be measured by not having disruption in production due to lack of supplies
Work with Sales Team and address long term needs
Software and Data Entry
Work with the Sales Team to ensure that all AP and AR invoices are properly entered into Quick Books for payment or receiving
Make sure that all beer is correctly shipped out of the brewery
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of Quickbooks (required) and SOS accounting software (preferred)
Strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
Good interpersonal skills and ‘got your back’ team attitude
