Seeking Full Time Cellar Person position Immediately Bozeman MT
This is a full-time position based in beautiful Southwestern Montana, where world class skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking, and Mountain Biking are right outside your door.
We are a 7 year old, brewery and tasting room. We expect to brew 2200 BBLS this year and intend to produce 2500 BBLS next year on a 10 BBL Brewhouse. We package in 16oz cans, sell draught to bars and have a popular tasting room that seats 150 people. Our brewery resides in a purpose built 9,000 sqft warehouse attached to a 7 day a week tasting room. We work very hard, but we have a lot of fun.
This is an entry level position. No previous Brewery experience necessary.
Job responsibilities and expectations are:
• Responsible for all cellar and packaging activity on a daily basis, with oversight from our brewers.
• Down lifting and occasionally lifting 165 lb kegs
• Learn to handle finished beer and packaged according to defined quality standards and specifications.
• As needed, be able to assist with hands on relief with all brewhouse operations.
• Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Filtration of beer on a pressurized DE Filter:
• Packaging beer in both cans and Kegs
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Able to lift 50# from the floor to over the head repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Able to work in environments of heat, cold, wet, and humidity.
• Ability to work in confined spaces when required.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Cleaning fermenting vessels and Brite tanks and filling orders
ability to safely operate a fork lift.
