Looking for good leadership with extensive brew and science knowledge to help grow the brand.
• Responsible for wort production, fermenting and cellaring operations.
• Responsible for development of new products through R&D brewing.
• Will need to be proficient in hand bottling and labeling beer.
• Material procurement including specialty raw ingredients (ie; spice, fruit, sugars, etc.), compressed gases, chemicals, glycol, etc.
• Works closely with production planning on warehouse inventory management, and works with the shipping department on scheduled deliveries.
• Responsible for all beer inventory including order entry, safe storage, inventory control and record keeping
• Drafting of excise taxes, BOE, and TTB reports and filings.
• Directly responsible for SOP creation, completion and maintenance.
• Attends and participates in brewing department leadership weekly meeting
• Supports sales and marketing.
• Communicates new beer information to staff, as well as sales and marketing
• Assists in coordination of festivals, dinners and or other special events
• Management of draft maintenance and upkeep
• Management of preventative maintenance for all equipment and systems
• Creation and management of brewery production and personnel schedules
What you’ll need to have to be successful:
• At least 3 years in the brewing industry. Added experience for the position would be project management, R&D management, sour and wood aging experience, logistics management and personnel management and pub brewery management
• College degree in related field or applicable experience
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to lead in an independent environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with all company departments
• Strong troubleshooting skills to solve draft systems and brewing equipment problems
• Great organizational skills and the ability to meet important deadlines
• Strong public relations and presentation skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Full time position (32-40 hours a week)
• Must be a self-starter
• Dental and Vision benefits after probationary period
• Must be able to lift 60lb
