Twin Oast is a farm-to-fermenter brewery looking for a brewery assistant to help with production. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and operating pumps and related equipment to successfully process beer.
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and purging kegs, CIP Fermentation Tanks, as well as other brewery equipment.
- Accurately record and report all necessary information on specified logs.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area (take out trash, cleaning designated utility area, assigned cellar area, brew preparation, etc.)
- Assist with other packaging tasks (kegging, transferring beers, etc.) when necessary.
- Assist with Brewers Duties when necessary (Brew Preparation, Checking Gravities, Dry Hopping, Kegging, etc.)
- Handle chemicals according to proper safe handling procedures.
- Wash and sanitize kegs.
- Receive ingredients and supplies to include unloading trucks, storing and removing kegs from walk in cooler.
- Responsible for pre-brewing duties such as weighing and milling brewing ingredients and sanitizing brewing and fermentation equipment.
- Assist in the troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of brewery equipment.
- Participate in continuing education related to brewery operations, and safety and regulatory requirements.
Desired Requirements:
- Passion for the production of beer
- Must have the ability to multi-task effectively
- Experience in related field a plus
- An extremely strong work ethic is a must
