Outside Sales Representative
Big Thompson Brewery is a small and rapidly growing brewery located in Loveland CO. We are self-distributing to restaurants and liquor stores across the Northern Front Range of Colorado. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic outside sales representative who can help us grow our sales footprint and brand awareness. This is initially a part time position with the potential to become full time for a person who demonstrates the ability to drive growth and help us continue to expand our business.
Position Overview:
Part-time:18 to 30 hours a week
Compensation: Hourly plus incentive plus gas allowance
Hours: Must be able to adjust schedule to meet customer requirements. Some evening and weekend hours will be required
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain an ongoing relationship with all existing customers
- Become familiar with our customer’s beer buyers, their schedules, their needs and their approach to purchase decisions
- Maintain regular in person contact with all customers
- Positively represent our beers to all buyers and proactively position and sell upcoming releases
- Be open to customer feedback, understand concerns or issues, work with customers to resolve problems, engage team members to support customer needs
- Identify and act on opportunities to make Big Thompson Brewery a top choice for all customers
• Actively engage with potential new customers on a regular basis, identify and work new sales opportunities every week
• Identify the need for and help develop marketing and promotional material to expand brand awareness and support marketing of our product to theend consumer
• Represent the brewery and our brand at festivals, tastings, and other miscellaneous events
• Maintain and submit up to date and accurate information related to customer contacts, sales, and support
• Deliver product on an occasional or urgent need basis
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must be 21 years or older
• Prior experience in beverage sales with a brewery, wholesaler, or retailer preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Outgoing personality, positive attitude, ability to collaborate and work constructively with others, strong communication skills
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with widely used office programs
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on an occasional basis
