CANDIDATE PROFILE
Must be a responsible, team player who has a genuine enthusiasm for people, and craft beer. Dependability, a cheerful and professional demeanor, and a willingness to learn are essential characteristics. A career focus on Distribution Operations and Trucking is preferred.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Driver will be making beer deliveries to area off-premise and on-premise retailers in our self distributed territories. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, good driving skills, physical labor, and the ability to work without direct supervision.
JOB DUTIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Deliveries
• Picking and bundling beer
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Product deliveries to retail accounts
• Maintaining associated paperwork (for example: invoices) in an accurate and orderly manner
• On-going communication with Sales Representatives
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
• Valid drivers license
• Highly reliable, self-directed, strong work ethic
• Solid communication and time management skills
• Quick learner, good problem solver
• Must be 21 plus
• Forklift experience is a bonus, you will be trained otherwise
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Operate a non-CDL van or light delivery truck
• During work hours, constantly needs to be accessible via phone, text, or e-mail
• Moderately demanding physical labor moving kegs and cases on and off of delivery vehicle and into establishments
• Variable hours that may include Saturday work
