Job Description
Ability to perform all cellar operations including the startup and shutdown of facility processes
Cleaning and sanitizing of filtration equipment and lines (CIP, CUP, BB tanks, lines and yeast brinks)
Performing routine readings and keeping accurate daily records
Maintaining accurate daily records
Maintaining all levels within product specifications
Monitoring quality parameters
Participating in taste panel work
Daily operation of filtration equipment and procedures
Attending weekly department meetings as scheduling allows
Required Skills
We’re looking for someone that’s passionate about craft beer and works well as part of a team. Prior brewery or experience is required. The best candidate will be able to demonstrate that they are detail oriented, thorough, and dedicated to quality. Our Cellar operator will focus on safety and
Essential Functions:
– Regular and predictable on-site job attendance
– Managing unscheduled tasks
– Physical activity including but not limited to:
– Standing for long periods of time
– Squatting/crouching/bending/kneeling
– Twisting
– Lifting up to 60 lbs unassisted and up to 165 lbs assisted
– Manually manipulating parts, pumps and hoses
– Pushing and pulling heavy loads
– Access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
– Operating filtration and cleaning equipment
– Use of heavy machinery
– Handling hazardous chemicals
– Teamwork
– Occasionally working in isolation
– Working in hot and cold temperatures
– Working on uneven surfaces
– Working in wet conditions
– Repetitive movements
– Working under time pressure
– Encountering frequent interruptions
– Using effective verbal communication
