CELLAR ASSISTANT/DELIVERY DRIVER

This is an entry level position requiring 30 hours of work a week. Hourly pay with the potential for upper movement with a growing company. Monday-Friday 9am-3pm daily. All tasks of this position will be under the guidance of the Head Brewer and Production Manager. Above all other responsibilities this position requires the ability to understand directions and complete tasks in a timely fashion.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Transfer of wort and beer.
• Packaging into Kegs, Cans and Bottles.
• CIP of all brewery tanks.
• Basic Yeast management
• Keg washing
• Monitoring active fermentation.
• Dry hopping
• Strict record-keeping
• Ensuring a clean and sanitary working environment.
• Read and interpret production recipes
• Prepare for brewing operations
• Assist in brewing operations as needed.
• Delivery driver
Must be able to:
• Lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs with assistance of a hand truck
• Climb up/down a ladder
• Stand for up to 6 hours per day
• Work in a non-temperature controlled environment
• Maintain a flexible schedule
• Complete all tasks as scheduled
Other requirements:
• 21 years of age
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to work outside of hired position.
• Knowledge and/or passion for craft beer and brewing or willingness to be trained and learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
