Liquid Mechanics is looking to add a team member to the brewery production crew with responsibilities in the cellar for 40 hrs/week.
Summary of Job position: The cellarperson will be responsible for performing cellar operations including tank CIP, beer transfers, dry-hopping, carbonation, small parts COP. May be redirected to keg cleaning, packaging (bottling, canning and/or kegging), grain out and kettle cleaning.

- Cleaning and sanitizing tanks
- Mopping & squeegeeing
- Harvesting yeast
- Performing daily testing: gravity, pH, VDK and temperature
- Fining and transferring beer
- Manual mash tun graining out
- Mopping & squeegeeing
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Maintaining accurate written records
- Packaging beer
- Cleaning kegs
- Mopping & squeegeeing
- Performing other related duties as required
You must have:
- 21 years of life under your belt
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Either a degree in a brewing discipline, 2 years experience in a production brewery or related industry with a strong knowledge of brewing process
- A commitment to high quality standards
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A high attention to detail
- The ability to safely handle brewery chemicals
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Your body should be able to sustain:
- Bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods
- Climbing ladders and working from moderate heights
- Safely lifting, moving and carrying up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Maneuvering 165 pound kegs in tight spaces
- Working in wet, cold, hot and noisy conditions
