WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This position can be physical in nature. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job you will be working around potentially dangerous moving machinery. Ability to work standing for long periods of time is a must. This position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds at shoulder-length and up to 100 pounds in general. This work environment involves indoor and outdoor activities in various temperatures and weather conditions. Employees are exposed to high levels of noise requiring the use of hearing protection.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for all aspects of dry end bottling operations including:
- De-palletizer
- Bottle Conveyors
- Caser Erector
- Tray Erector
- Carrier Erector Multi-packer
- Case Packer
- Case Sealer
- Palletizer
- Pallet Wrapper Operations
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Startup and shutdown of all glass and case handling processes
- Loading of equipment to ensure line is always fed without interruption
- Freeing jams, making adjustments, etc.
- Ensuring proper packaging of labeled bottles
- Monitoring of proper inkjet coding of bottles and cases for accuracy and legibility, flagging issues, etc.
- Addressing all product quality issues immediately and stopping line if issues cannot be correctly quickly
- Working directly with supervisor and maintenance department to resolve issues quickly and completely
- Helping to maintain accurate and detailed daily run logs
- Maintaining an orderly and safe work environment within department as well as entire facility
- Wearing appropriate PPE at all times
- Performing routine daily maintenance of equipment and logging all issues and repairs
- Keeping work space clean and organized throughout shift
- Participating in regularly scheduled departmental meetings to review issues and propose solutions
- Maintaining personal appearance and conduct reflective of professionalism and pride in Harpoon
- Following all company policies as detailed in Employee Handbook (attendance, safety, IT protocols, etc.)
- Contributing to a positive work environment through open and constructive dialog
- Contributing and being receptive to continual innovation and improvement
- Assisting other departments or performing other tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year experience in packaging or 2 years experience in manufacturing
- Proper use of PPE
- OSHA-approved Forklift certification
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail
- Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer
