    CELLAR WORKER
    Job Title: Cellar Worker
    Wages: Hourly
    Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt
    Reports to: Brewer. May have responsibilities and job tasks assigned by other Owners/Managers.
    Summary:
    The ideal candidate will be an energetic, friendly, outgoing, motivated, and hardworking individual with a mechanical aptitude who takes initiative. Flexibility in schedule is required.

    Job Description:
    Clean all areas of brewery including kegs, fermenters, brewery parts, taplines; keg beer; assist with bottling; record fermenting activities, backstock taproom, forklift operation, chemical handling, transfer beer and other duties as assigned, including occasional beertending duties.
    Demonstrate the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
    Qualifications:
    • Honesty and integrity.
    • Meet the minimum WI State age requirement to serve alcohol.
    • Punctual and regular, reliable attendance.
    • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work quickly, problem solve and think on your feet while maintaining poise in a fast-paced environment.
    • Well-versed in brewing techniques; preparation techniques, styles, flavor profiles or possess a willingness to learn.
    • Positive, outgoing attitude and sense of humor.
    • Personable, kind, and customer service oriented.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Possess basic math skills, basic computer skills and ability to handle money and operate POS system.
    • Passion for the service industry, desire to be part of a team and work hard, high level of self-awareness and long-term view of success.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Consistently lift, carry and move 70 pounds and occasionally 165 pounds.
    • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, lifting, kneeling and reaching.
    • Must be able to stand for the entire shift, up to ten hours.
    • Consistently able to use repetitive hand and wrist motion.
    • Work with hot, cold and hazardous equipment and materials.
    • Climb stairs numerous times a day.
    • Frequent washing of hands.
    Education and/or Experience:
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
