    Position Summary
    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for promptly and safely maintaining facility and facility assets to maintain optimal functional requirements, including preventive and emergency repairs to equipment. Additional duties may include maintenance of basic electrical components, audio/video systems, basic plumbing and overall general building & grounds maintenance tasks.

    Essential Functions & Duties
    • Troubleshoots source of failures and make emergency repairs to all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems as needed to return them to service and minimize production downtime.
    • Conducts daily walk through to assess facility conditions and prioritize workload.
    • Maintains a clean and orderly work area, returning tools, equipment and supplies to the appropriate storage areas after each assignment.
    • Establishes and performs preventative maintenance on equipment in the Brewery, Production and Packaging departments.
    • Observes equipment in operation to prevent/diagnose potential problems.
    • Develops and maintains maintenance logs on all equipment.
    • Orders stock parts services for proper and prompt repairs.
    • Orders parts and equipment as necessary and obtains proper approvals as required.
    • Works with Contractors for repair, maintenance and installation jobs.
    • Maintains and services electrical, mechanical, boilers and cooling systems (Chillers).
    • Maintains and services plumbing, gas, air, drain and wastewater systems.
    • Troubleshoots PLC's, Controls, Motors, Medium Voltage Equipment.


    Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • High School Diploma required.
    • 2+ years of facilities/general maintenance experience required.
    • Experience with Netsuite ticketing system a plus.
    • Must have an Electrical / Mechanical background experience setting up and servicing brewing and packaging equipment, as well as basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
    • Ability to use computer tablet to track and report daily rounds.
    • Works well independently and cooperatively with others.
    • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
    • Forklift certification a plus.


    Physical Demands
    Heavy work: Employee typically shares workstation with others in similar positions. Time spent conducting sedentary work is less than 25%. Requires walking, standing, squatting, bending, kneeling reaching and/or driving for more than 75% of the workday. Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
