Crooked Crab Brewing Company, located in Odenton, MD, is looking to add a head brewer to our team!
First and foremost, Crooked Crab Brewing Company’s head brewer is the creative and inspirational
mastermind behind the beer – a beer ninja extraordinaire. As such the head brewer is expected to
operate with a high level of autonomy and creative authority. Day to day responsibilities include leading
the brewing operations and team members, and coordinating materials to produce creative, consistent
and high quality beer. This includes executing existing flagship recipes, developing new recipes, managing inventory, maintaining brewing
schedules, and ensuring the highest level of quality control.
The successful candidate will be creative, ridiculously meticulous, and interested in brewing beers of
many styles. As we are a small business, the head brewer must be comfortable wearing many hats and
taking on challenges in all facets of the business. The head brewer will work closely will all team
members, including management, sales and marketing, and brewing staff. Love of good music and
Maryland/DC sports are a plus!
