Arches Brewing is an award-winning craft lager brewery based in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking an eager, resourceful, hard-working individual to join our team as our full-time Packaging Manager. This position will oversee and be responsible for managing all packaging end-to-end, which involves working with the brewing team and sales team to communicate effectively and each day’s packaging requirements. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to create a packaging plan, order appropriate supplies, follow detailed instructions, move up to 75 lbs, and work on their feet for 8+ hours. ROLE: PACKAGING MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare packaging materials (plan ahead, order, organize, clean)
Responsible for operation of canning equipment
Responsible for operation of kegging equipment
Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks
Safely handle chemical/sanitation products
Safely operate powered industrial vehicles
Regularly lift and move up to 75 lbs
Regularly walk, crouch, and reach
Work in a loud and temperature variable environment
Other tasks as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
2+ Years brewery experience
Brewery Packaging experience
Warehouse or manufacturing experience
Availability for long and/or flexible hours
Dependable, reliable transportation
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a positive attitude
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
Ability to walk, reach, and crouch on a regular basis throughout the day.
Ability to regularly lift and move 75 lbs
Ability to work in a loud and temperature variable environment
Forklift certification and/or experience is a plus
PREFERRED:
Experience working with a Wild Goose 250 Canning Line
Experience cleaning, filling, moving kegs
Forklift certified
College diploma
