Harmon Brewing Co. of Tacoma, WA is one of Tacoma's oldest breweries and we are looking for an Assistant Brewer.
We are a 10bbl brew pub, with current production at 1500bbl per year (increasing to 2500-3000 over the next 6-8 months).
Our environment is a focused but fun environment. We welcome collaborative ideas and input and value our brewery team.
Our brewer must possess:
- Ideally 1-2 years of professional brewing experience (opportunity to grow and learn, so will train the right person with minimal experience)
- Willingness to work in a collab environment and be open to and share new beer ideas
- Ability to follow all safety practices and procedures (both company and industry standard)
- Ability to do daily physical functions of normal job routine (lifting of kegs or bags, etc)
- Work with and assist the Production Manager in all day to day brewery operations
- Awesome or mad skills with barrel programs
- A formal brewery education/program is preferred, but not required.
