Wabash Brewing is looking for a Head Brewer to run a 3BBL system for the brewery. If you enjoy a fun environment, flexible work schedules, and freedom to develop new and exciting recipes this is the place for you.
Head Brewer Responsibilities Include:
• Development of recipes
• Milling grain
• Brewing on 3BBL System
• Monitoring fermentation
• Racking beer between fermenters and brite tank
• Cleaning and filling kegs
• Yeast management, storage and propagation
• Cleaning and sanitizing brewhouse equipment
• Quality control
• Taking inventory of finished product and raw materials
• Prepare orders for raw materials
• Follow production standard operating procedures and continuously improving as necessary
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment
• Planning and maintaining the production calendar with FOH Staff
Required Experience/Skills:
• Prior experience in a production brewery preferred
• Passion for craft beer and brewing
• Demonstrated proficiency of complicated and sensitive brewing processes
• Organized and extremely detail-oriented
• Ability to lift 55lbs above shoulder
• Climb ladders
• Positive work ethic
• Willing to have fun at work!
