Brasserie Saint James of Reno, NV is looking to hire an assistant brewer. The position will require, but is not limited to: transferring beer, brewhouse operations, tank CIP, keg cleaning and filling and other cellar operations, yeast handling and maintenance.
Applicants should have some experience in brewery operations, with an understanding of tank cleaning and sanitation as well as transfer and clarification of finished beer. We require a high attention to detail as well as a personality that doesn't mind going the extra mile. Punctuality and an upbeat disposition are a must. This position requires long term physical endurance and the ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly. Actual brewing experience is not required but desirable..
We are developing new recipes at a vigorous pace. This is a great opportunity to help craft various styles including the continued exploration of new school and old world methods.
