Domaine Roy Et Fils is looking for two more seasonal employees to help us with our Harvest/Crush period.
We are a high end producer of small lot Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Dundee Hills of the Willamette Valley about an hour south of Portland Oregon.
If you have worked in beer production and are interested in learning about wine production this could be a fun opportunity for you to get a couple months experience in something new. I have worked in breweries and have had brewers work for me in wineries in the past and it works out well. Unlike brewing, we have to harvest and ferment all of our grapes into wine in a short window of time, so we need to hire a few more capable people to join us for some long hours. You must have a flexible schedule and a willingness to work hard because there will be a couple weeks of very long days with no days off, but there is of course standard overtime compensation.
