Job Overview
This role is responsible as the point for all day to day brewing. We operate a number of brewhouse sizes, and focus on an innovative production schedule. Brew days will be on our 8bbl pilot system, 50bbl production system, our 3bbl ciderhouse, and developing new wild fermentation program in our 3rd satellite tasting room in Nashville.

Responsibilities
The candidate is responsible for the full scope of company brewing including but not limited to: Management, operation, upkeep and maintenance of all equipment, production and packaging schedules, all aspects of production including cellaring, packaging, yeast management, maintaining accurate and detailed records, ensuring a clean and sanitary work environment, quality control processes, managing a brewery team, participation in company meetings and initiatives and working with other company department heads.
Experience
Proven ability to contribute to a successful team
Should have experience in comparable brewhouse systems
More than 3 years experience in professional brewing, and has held either Lead or Head Brewer roles in the past
Extensive experience and understanding of the brewing process, sanitation, yeast handling, and QA/QC
Formal brewing education degrees and certifications is favorable
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Must be able to lift 65 lbs and move 175 lbs regularly
Must have ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, work from heights, stoop, kneel and crouch
Ability to work near moving parts and machinery
Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus the ability to see color; either with or without accommodations
The ability to work in loud, wet, cold, hot, indoor and outdoor environments frequently
Availability early, late, nights and weekends.
