Expanding brewery in southern NJ is currently looking for an experienced craft brewer. We are currently targeting growth from 800bbl/yr to 2,500bbl/yr+. The right candidate will bring experience, knowledge and ethics required to handle a management position following an evaluation period. Applicant should have at least 3-5 years of brewing experience, be capable of managing all brewing and cellar operations (focus on quality management) and have a very high interest in product innovation as well as traditional styles.
The current facility houses a 10bbl electric brewhouse as well as a 1bbl pilot system. Experience with facility and equipment expansion is desired, but not required.
This position will report directly to the owners, but most production and planning efforts will be collaborative and inclusive (to include new recipe development). Candidates with experience in barrel aging preferred. Compensation will be competitive with the market, experience and level of expertise.
