  • Anyone have an alternate to the micromatic wash head couplers?

We have been going through these crappy micromatic wash head couplers way too fast, the plastic handle and plastic valve handles break after a couple months of use and render themselves useless. Especially on a keg washer.
Anyone have a alternate they know of? the little compact valves are pretty specialized as they have beer nut thread on them. I can't find a source for small valves to replace them.

I save the handles off old tavern heads to replace the crappy handles on the cleaner heads. I've even been able to get my supplier to swap them out for me when buying new.

As for the valve handles, ours last just fine. I don't think I've had one break in almost 20 years.

Yeh - I've never had one of those valves break. But I agree, why does Micromatic make a great wash head but put a flimsy plastic handle on it??
