    Job Description

    New craft brewery, restaurant and entertainment venue in eastern Longmont (Weld County), Colorado is seeking an outgoing General Manager (GM) to oversee day-to-day operations, develop and manage strategies to drive maximum revenue generation, create out of this world guest experiences and cultivate an enjoyable and productive work culture for employees. The GM will work closely with the leadership, kitchen and brewery teams to achieve goals.

    This role is full-time and may be contact-to-employee.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the company.
    • Knowledge of budgets, inventory’s and cost controls for FOH and BOH.
    • Manage achievement of sales, costs, quality, service, facility appearance, sanitation and cleanliness goals.
    • Sourcing and purchasing of hard goods, perishable and non-perishable goods.
    • Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
    • Menu development in collaboration with leadership and management teams.
    • Ensure all required compliance is adhered to in a timely and orderly manner.
    • Ensuring all company records are maintained and well organized.
    • Develop and implement policies and standard operating procedures in collaboration with kitchen and human resources team.
    • Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.
    • Accomplishes restaurant objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
    • Supervise and mentor staff.


    Qualifications:
    • Must have 6+ years General Manager experience, preferably brewpub experience. Experience must include staffing, purchasing and cost management; experience managing an entertainment venue preferred.
    • High school graduate or equivalent. Undergrad degree or advanced preferred.
    • In depth knowledge of and experience complying with health, food safety and liquor license regulations and guidelines.
    • Must have experience analyzing financial data and forecasting.
    • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
    • Working knowledge and skills (preferably intermediate or above) with computer programs included but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ADP Workforce Now.
    • Ability to collaborate well with others as well as independently as necessary.


    Work Environment:
    • May be required to work in standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
    • May be required to reach, bend, stoop, climb stairs; ability to lift, push and/or pull to 50 pounds.
    • May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week as needed.
