    About Oyster Bay Brewing Company
    We are a small (~2500 BBL/YR) brewery located in historic Oyster Bay NY, on the north shore of Long Island. We are currently operating on a 15 BBL brewhouse with three 30 BBL and four 15 BBL Fermenters, a 30 BBL and two 15 BBL Brites. We keg and can our beer (new wild goose canning line) and approximately 60% is sent to our distributors who distributes all of Long Island, NYC, up the Hudson Valley and Connecticut.

    Job Description
    Must be a self-motivated individual who will be working with our head brewer and brewers. Must have the ability to work individually and within a team. The individual must be able to learn quickly and adapt to an ever changing schedule. General Duties include:
    Yeast, malt and hops handling
    CIP of tanks, kegs and any other equipment
    Maintain a clean work environment
    Cellar Operations
    Assist in canning operations
    Assist in kegging operations
    Assist in brewing operations

    Job Requirements
    Must be able to lift 55lbs repeatedly and occasionally up to 150lbs
    Must be 21 years of age
    Must be able to climb ladders
    Adhere to OSHA regulations
    Stand for long periods of time
    Strong attention to detail
    Science background a plus
    Fermentation Science background a major plus
    Brewery experience a major plus

    Compensation

    $25k-40k + benefits, dependent on experience.
