Lost Coast Brewery is now hiring a Product Development Brewer!
Lost Coast Brewery was founded in 1989 and has a proud history of making quality beers. We moved into our new brewery in 2015 - a 77,000 sq. ft. facility with a 120 barrel brewhouse. Since our move, we have been busily putting out new beers; in fact, we recently installed a 10 barrel pilot brewery to drive innovation! We are in need of good brewers that can continue our history of fine beers. Current projects include a new canning line and barrel-aged beers.
We are looking for someone to create a world-class beer development program – taking a beer from concept to pilot batch, testing, scaling up, and full-blown production runs. Our new pilot brewery will be the playground where your creativity plays!
The ideal candidate will:
• Be formally educated in brewing
• Have 5+ years of experience in brewing
• Have a history of creating high quality and interesting beer recipes
• Be able to work with the Production Brewery Staff to scale up pilot brews to production size
• Have familiarity with barrel aging
Lost Coast Brewery is located on the beautiful Redwood Coast. We have mild temperatures all year round, so it is a great area for outdoor activities. The area has a rich history from a varied heritage, and in modern times can be described as a mix of “nature and culture with a small-town feel”.
