Laboratory manager. Position is responsible for daily and weekly quality lab checks on beer and yeast; sanitary collection of samples, platting, cell counts, testing (pH, alcohol, color, bitterness, clarity, gas mixes, packaging parameters, etc), record keeping, sensory evaluations, interactive feedback to staff. Applicants need a good understanding of quality assurance and quality control methods, as well as microbiology. Good organizational skills are important. Applicants should be familiar with sanitary operations, microscopes and general lab cleanliness. We can train on specific tests and knowledge related to our industry. Full time with benefits including matching 401K. Salary will depend on qualifications.
