QA/QC Packaging Technician
Two Roads Brewing Company is seeking Quality Packaging Technician to assist with Packaging QA/QC and other routine daily tasks in the QA/QC Lab. This is an entry-level position that reports to the Packaging QA/QC Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Execute Package QA/QC Testing Procedures including Total Package Oxygen (TPO), Fill level verification, and Double Seam Integrity.
Record data accurately and promptly.
Communicate anomalous results in a timely manner.
Assist in trouble-shooting activities.
Assist in shared QA/QC lab duties, including but not limited to:
Analytical measurements on green and bright beer (gravity/density, alcohol, VDKs, pH, haze, IBU, and color).
Calibration & maintenance of analytical instruments.
Maintaining a clean laboratory working environment.
Qualifications of the position include:
A minimum of a two-year degree (Associate of Science or Applied Science) or 1+ years with packaging experience in a regulated, related manufacturing sector (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, etc.). Four-year degree or 2+ years’ experience preferred.
Laboratory (classwork, independent study) or data collection/data analysis experience.
Experience following established protocols and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Superior attention to detail, highly organized, and exemplary work ethic.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency with computer programs such as Excel and Word.
A sense of humor.
A passion for craft beer.
Requirements:
Some weekend work will be required.
Ability to stand on one’s feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
