  • How much waste?

What figure are you working on for waste.
    1) Per 30L keg?
    2) Per 9g cask?
    Thanks!!

For brewing alone: 1.8:1 - = 1.8 volumes of water consumed for every volume of beer produced.

Overall: 7:1 Including washing tanks, kegs, packaging lines, etc.

So, for every volume of beer produced, we create 6 volumes of wastewater. (although a small portion of that leaves in the solid waste stream - spent grains, trub and spent yeast to local farmer)

    Pax.

      What???

Dirky, you need to be much more specific. Cans or bottles or kegs or all? None? Brewpubs use much less than packaging breweries. Liquid waste or solid? Again, packaging materials are very wasteful. Your question is far too vague to give any sort of reasonable answer to.
