Tanker is a rapidly growing and modernizing craft brewery located near the capital city of Tallinn, Estonia. We are one of the pioneers in the craft brewing revolution in Estonia and strive to produce the best tasting beer possible. We produce a wide variety of craft beers and are innovating frequently. We are looking for multiple people to join our team in the position of Brewer. Ideally you are a craft beer fan, love a challenge, are a friendly person, possess good communication skills and have a thirst for learning.
We are opening up a new brewing facility with state of the art equipment and looking more brewers to do the following things:
• Wort production - brewhouse operation
• Cellar work - fermentation management, transfers, sampling, centrifuging, dry hopping, carbonation
• Grain handling, milling, and handling of other raw materials
• Fermentation tank and brewery cleaning
• Packaging beer in kegs, bottles, and cans
• Moving things in the warehouse, such as pallets of kegs, malt, bottles, etc.
• Participating in beer festivals, tap takeovers and other beer-related events
• Being a brand ambassador and hosting tours in the brewery
Qualifications:
• You are either an accomplished home brewer, have 2 years of professional brewing experience, or have recently finished a formal education in a brewing school
• You speak English well
• You have a scientific mind and keep meticulous records
• You thrive in environments of change and uncertainty and like to solve problems
• You are a multi-skilled talent
• You embrace the flexibility and agility of a working in a small company
• You are available to a work full time 40 hour work week, but are flexible to evenings and weekends on occasion
• Experienced professionals in fields other than brewing will be considered if you have a demonstrated track record of success and have a compelling reason to enter the brewing profession
