We have a cooler with 6-30 bbl bright tanks in it that is in need of a new floor due to a leak as it is elevated above another room. We've talked to a few companies and they want to get the room up to at least 50 degrees (preferably more) for a few days for the product to cure. Problem is, emptying these tanks or moving them is not really something that we can do. We would take out all product lines while the room is up at 50, but I'm worried about the beer in the tanks going bad due to the elevated temps.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we could recoat the floor, without bringing the beer up to higher temps and spoiling in some way? We've already thought about heater blankets to initially warm up the concrete slab for applying the floor.
Also, does anyone think that it would spoil the beers to get up to 50+ degrees for a few days?
