Seeking a Head Brewer for a microbrewery/brewpub startup
We are a new venture microbrewery looking to open our doors in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. The brewery is in the early stages of development. We are looking for an experienced brewer to jump on board with our team and incorporate their vision and ideas into our business plan. The ownership is more than equipped to run the business and we have a passion for craft beer, but we don’t consider ourselves master brewers and understand that the brewing should be overseen by an experienced head brewer.
Our ideal candidate will have head or assistant brewing experience in a microbrewery. The ideal candidate would also provide input and help through the planning stages of the brewery. The head brewer will be joining us with a blank canvas to work with and it would make sense that the brewery be built with their wants and needs in mind.
This position would obviously require the head brewer to be located/relocated to the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. Possible relocation would not need to take place until the brewery is ready to open. This will be a full-time position with a salary once the brewery opens.
Getting in on the ground floor of the brewery during the early stages, we anticipate having a discussion for equity in the brewery, and we are willing to consider equity for the brewer. We are building this brewery as a team and its important they are valued as such.
