    Town Brewing Co., Charlotte’s newest brewery, is seeking an experienced, innovative Brewery Sales Representative to join our growing team!

    About Town Brewing Co.
    Town Brewing opened its doors September of 2018 in the rapidly evolving, exciting FreeMoreWest district of the Wesley Heights neighborhood, less than a mile from Bank of America Stadium and Uptown Charlotte. We are brewing an extensive range of beer styles including IPAs, stouts, saisons, kettle sours, and lagers, with plans to roll out barrel-aged beers in the near future. Our goal is to make our taproom a fixture in the community with an inviting atmosphere and exciting events. Our kitchen is also producing an eclectic menu focusing on shareable plates, with an eye towards creating exceptional beer and food pairings.

    About the Position
    The Brewery Sales Representative will be a full-time role responsible for promoting the Town Brewing brand and building sales as we launch our beer to market. As a new brewery, we are seeking a motivated individual who can thrive in an exciting and challenging start-up environment. This is an excellent opportunity to get in ground level as we work towards creating a loyal customer following, with opportunities for growth as we expand distribution. Passion for, and knowledge of, craft beer is obviously important, but the ideal candidate will also possess a proven track record of exceptional customer relations, brand building, and strong event planning skills. Our plan is to self-distribute in the Charlotte area, focusing on craft-centric accounts initially, and growing organically as we increase production.

    Responsibilities
    - Meet or exceed outside sales goals
    - Build strong, lasting relationships with target accounts
    - Plan and promote events at accounts (tap takeovers, pint nights, beer dinners, etc.)
    - Represent Town Brewing at festivals and other sales and promotional events
    - Follow up on potential sales leads, promotional opportunities, and other brand building activities
    - Work with production staff to coordinate beer deliveries and allocate beer for outside sales
    - Monitor beer quality at outside accounts (packaging dates, draft line cleanliness, etc.)
    - Maintain sales records (invoices, new account tax forms, etc.)
    - Assist in developing a sustainable, long-term sales strategy

    Qualifications
    - Knowledge of beer styles and craft beer trends
    - Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
    - 2+ years sales experience, ideally for a brewery or beer wholesaler
    - Event planning experience a plus
    - Proficiency on multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat)
    - Creative problem-solver
    - Attention to detail
    - Post high school education/degree preferred
    - Cicerone Certified Beer Server (Level 1) required within 60 days of starting employment (Certified Cicerone Level 2 preferred).
    - Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed
