Castle Danger Brewery, located on the north shore of Lake Superior, is adding two third shift positions to the Cellar team.

The Cellar Person is responsible for maintaining beer throughout fermentations and the transfer and clarification of beer in preparation for packaging. Responsibilities include: performing daily fermentation ph/gravity checks, managing fermentations and yeast health, transferring beer via a GEA Westphalia centrifuge, aiding brewers in batch setup and grain milling, keeping extensive records and adhering to documentation procedures, carbonating beer and performing final checks to ensure beer is ready for packaging.

Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, at least 21 years of age, strong communication skills and the ability to speak and interact effectively with coworkers, positive attitude, initiative, creativity and adaptability. Previous experience in a brewery or other manufacturing/production environment strongly preferred. Must be able to stand/walk during entire shift, lift /carry supplies in excess of 85 lbs and team lift up to 170 lbs and reach, bend, stoop, crawl, pull, push, wrangle hoses for an entire shift. These are both third shift positions. One is Mon-Thurs 11 pm - 9 am, the other is Thurs-Sun 11 pm - 9 am.
