It is the beginning of a new era and we’re looking for a badass Head Brewer who dares to take up the challenge to rock the Helsinki craft beer scene as the Head Brewer at a new Pub Brewery in Helsinki, Finland.
As Head Brewer, you will have full responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the brewing operations, from managing and developing your brewing team to negotiating with suppliers to procure the highest quality product, and to participate in the develop the brewing business. You will also be responsible for creating, planning and executing all sorts of events, in close cooperation with the rest of the management team at the pub brewery.
In short – you must be talented when it comes to creative brewing and you must -
Enjoy:
– Brewing, cellar work incl. a bit of fermenting and aging in barrels
– Cellar work as well as following the product through to serving tanks and packaging to kegs
– Potentially presenting your work at festivals and events
Offer:
– Proven records in this line of work at other great craft breweries/brewpubs (don’t bother unless this can be documented)
– The ability to work autonomously in a diverse environment
– Extreme ambition and attention to detail, as well as the relentless pursuit of developing incredible beer
The pub brewery is sceduled to open up for business around August 2019, being part of a pub/restaurant group consisting of today 8 businesses, so the majority of the beer to be brewed at site is basically already sold :-)
The capital Helsinki already have a vibrant craft beer scene, however still young and less matured compared to the close by Scandinavian capitals like Copenhagen and Stockholm – that is what we want to change.
