COMPANY DESCRIPTION
G5 Brewing Company is a brand-new brewery currently being built in Beloit, WI. Our state of the art 10,000 square foot building will contain a new QTS 10-barrel brewing system, including six fermenters, one brite tank and three serving tanks. In addition to brewing beer, G5 will also have a full menu restaurant and bar.

JOB OVERVIEW AND OPPORTUNITIES
The Tap Room Manager will supervise all areas of the G5 Brewing Company tap room. This includes supervising serving staff, working closely with brewing staff, managing and coordinating inventory with brewery production workers, executing a variety of events throughout the year, collaborating on the marketing efforts, and assisting in the strategic planning and budgeting for the tap room.

The ideal candidate loves craft beer (brewing experience is a bonus, but not required), is extremely organized, detail oriented, responsible, and hard working. Self-motivated individuals who can perform at a high level, are successful at multi-tasking, and are capable of collaborating with multiple groups will be viewed favorably.

It is vital that this position makes a top priority the customer’s experience of visiting G5. Our intention is for our customers to be enlightened and educated on craft beer, our specific brewing processes, our location, and our brand.

Position is full time.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Hiring, training, and managing tap room staff
• Oversee Cost Control and profitability of the taproom: Report weekly to Ownership
• A strong desire to collaboratively lead the direction of the taproom experience while staying up to date on Market and Industry trends and opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, friendly and welcoming environment for all guests.
• Communicating beer and merchandise needs for inventory
• Completing weekly and monthly inventory tasks
• Managing the coordination for all special events hosted in the taproom while keeping a calendar of booked events and upcoming G5 outings
• Creation and execution of Standard Operating Procedures for re ordering needs and inventory stock levels
• Sensory Panel Participant
• Daily Quality Control metrics to ensure optimal customer experience for all G5 Brewing guests
• Develop a lead beer server training program and lead all Day One on boarding trainings for new hires
• Engaging customers, making sales, and answering questions
• Proactive management of taproom improvements and actively engaged around the development plans for the taproom expansion
• Ability to move kegs and operate a hand truck


DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous brewery or craft beer experience preferred
• Hospitality experience is a plus
• Retail experience required- both back and front of house experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Knowledge of and interest in the craft beer industry
• Proven success in a retail environment
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees and customers.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to multi task. The ability to think on your feet and adapt, flexibility is key.
• Attention to detail.
• Advanced computer literacy- excel, word, outlook, point of sale, etc.
• Events planning and coordination experience
• Time management and schedule management
