    Come grow with us! Immediate opening! Prairie Artisan Ales is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled packaging line operator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an internationally recognized brewery. We have made our name with big stouts and interesting farmhouse ales. We have been on ratebeer.com’s list of the top 100 breweries in the world for the past five years and currently three of our beers are on their list of the top one hundred beers in the world. Prairie Bomb! has been on the list ever since it was released back in 2012.
    Overall Responsibility:

    Packaging line operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe packing of product to meet previously established quality standards and production goals.

    Essential Job Functions:
    Safely and efficiently operate packaging equipment to produce bottles and kegs of finished product according to previously established SOP’s including but not limited to each of the following activities:
    Packaging: carbonation of beer, operation of bottling lines, CIP of bottling lines, cleaning dirty keg, filling kegs, palletizing beer, recording all movements of packaging and unpacked beer
    Cellar: cleaning beer transfer lines and hoses, brite tank CIP
    Maintain safety and quality standards as they relate to packaging
    Ensure a clean and sanitary work space
    Document all movements of beer using Orchestrated Beer program

    Essential Job Requirements:

    Two years experience in the brewing or manufacturing industry strongly preferred but not required.
    Accredited technical degree or bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred
    Ability to lift at least 100 (lbs.) pound, stand for long periods of time, able to bend, and work in a loud, hot, and quick paced environment
    Forklift certification or ability to become certified
    Ability to read write and easily communicate with other team members
    Competency with standard office technology
