Temescal Brewing is looking for a full-time marketing manager to help us win more loyal fans and to spread the good word about the Fresh Beer, No Jerks as we embark on a new phase of growth.
You will work closely with our creative director to promote our brand, voice, and values, and with the rest of our team to develop short- and long-term strategies and marketing content for the company, supporting the work of our taproom, distro, and event staff.

Our Ideal candidate:
- Knows what it takes to build a strong following in craft beer, ideally with 2-3 years marketing experience in beer or related industries
- Has a knack for brand-building, storytelling, and community organizing
- Is passionate about beer, food, local artists, and the Oakland community, and is genuinely interested in the art and science of brewing
- Is friendly and cooperative, with a good sense of humor—our brewery motto is “No Jerks,” and we mean it!
- Has strong photography and/or design skills
- Has experience with effective PR strategy and can write a killer press release
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a content calendar for, writing copy for, and posting to Temescal social media accounts
- Fostering and creating content for our email newsletter subscribers
- Regularly updating the Temescal website
- Working closely with event staff to promote on- and off-site Temescal events
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies for special product releases and projects
- Stocking and marketing Temescal Merch
