    Dru Bru, a craft brewery located in scenic Snoqulamie Pass, is looking to add to our production team.     This position is a dynamic role which requires an organized, self-motivated, and reliable individual who will work as a part of the beer production team in a rapidly growing craft brewery. The Cellarman and Assistant Brewer will be expected to assist with weekly production needs at the direction of the Production Manager. Depending on experience level, hired individuals will be expected to work a minimum of 32 hours per week (at an hourly pay rate) or be hired as a full-time salaried employee with a 40 hr/week expectation. This position comes with competitive pay based on the candidate's qualifications and includes medical and dental benefits for full-time hires. Detailed training for independent brewing and wort production will be integrated into this roll and it is expected that you will be brewing independently within 3-6 months. The following work experience will be evaluated as part of the hiring criteria:

    Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a cellarman at a commercial brewery
    Experience operating brew house for wort production is a plus (but not required)
    Related technical degree in brewing science, engineering, chemistry, biology or other is beneficial
    Strong understanding of beer styles and their flavor profiles
    A motivation and desire to work in a physically demanding environment which includes the following:
    - Long hours on your feet, kneeling, crouching, and lifting heavy (55lb+) objects
    - Frequent use of ladders, forklifts, pallet jacks and other heavy equipment
    - Flexibility to work non-standard hours with a “till the job is done” work ethic
    A positive and enthusiastic attitude with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
    Proficiency in computer application including Gmail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft excel, and windows based computer navigation
    Flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and/or holidays
    Proper use and handling around chemicals, compressed gasses, wet floors, boiling liquids, and other hazards
    Must be 21+ years old

    Position Summary: Assisting with beer production activities with a focus on cellar work and brewery maintenance.
    Cellar Work
    Work under the guidance of Production Manager to prepare tanks for production, transfer, and packaging in accordance to schedule
    CIP tanks
    Transfer and carbonate beer
    Keg beer as directed by Production Manager
    Process beers in accordance with the brew schedule
    Perform daily gravity checks on all fermenting beers and enter data into Ekos
    Harvest yeast and follow proper yeast storage protocols
    Cap, crash, dry hop, and BioFine beers as needed

    Cold Storage Organization
    Replenish tap room and local rack, reorganize and consolidate kegs as needed
    Organize distribution shipments in accordance with weekly pick-up and delivery schedule
    Assist in bottling and canning runs
    Assist in Brewing Operations with a focus on Wort Production Training
    Unload and organize grain shipments in the mill room, mill grain for brew days, sweep/dust mill room
    Brew Day assistance, CIP and clean-up
    Train in wort production and brewing procedures with the goal of brewing independently within 3-6 months

    General Maintenance and Cleaning
    Restock hops as needed
    General brewery cleanliness and upkeep
    Monitor overall cleanliness of vessels including brew deck, heat exchanger, swing link panel, etc
    Monitor valves, hardware, and gaskets on all vessels, flag if damaged
    Change valve gaskets as needed, tighten screws, etc.
    Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance in accordance with the maintenance checklists
