  • Cool-fit 2.0 vs 4.0

About to install new glycol piping at our brewery in Sweden. GF representative says they will stop making Cool-fit ABS. Now. Cool-fit 2.0 and 4.0 looks very easy and good. But also costly. Right now we are detbating going with the 2.0 instead of 4.0. 2.0 is about the same system with a bit thinner insulation and the sealing lip looks a little bit different. The recomendation is 4.0 when you have coolant below freezingpoint. We plan on coolant at about -12 deg. Celsius. Just like to hear if anyone here has any thoughts or practical experice with Cool-fit 2.0 Our main pipe will have a total length of a total apprx 35 meters (one main pipe also for 2nd stage in our heat exchanger) so a total of 70 meters with return pipe. This will add up to some money...

    Best regards,
    Love Brande
